Terms of Service
These terms apply to the LynavoDrive website, desktop and mobile apps, client login pages, accounts, the local core, official remote access, device management, remote-service subscriptions, and related services. Effective date: July 6, 2026.
By clicking “Agree,” registering, signing in, downloading, installing, accessing, or using LynavoDrive, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, stop using the related services.
1. Scope and definitions
These Terms are an agreement between you and Shenzhen Kaiyun Information Technology Co., Ltd. regarding use of the LynavoDrive website, apps, desktop and mobile clients, client login pages, accounts, device management, album auto backup, official remote access, and related services.
“LynavoDrive” means the software, website, clients, server APIs, account system, device connection features, Sync History, Access History, remote-service subscriptions, and later updates that we provide. “User Content” means photos, videos, computer files, and related data that you back up, download, access, or manage through LynavoDrive.
2. Accounts, login, and security
- You must provide true, accurate, complete, and current account information, and you are responsible for actions under your account.
- You are responsible for protecting login credentials, verification codes, connection codes, device authorization, and system permissions. You bear the consequences of sharing, leaking, or authorizing others to use them.
- If you notice abnormal account, device, code, or file access activity, change your password, block affected devices, and contact us promptly.
- We may restrict, suspend, or terminate account or device features when needed for security risk, violations, legal requirements, or service stability.
3. Features and boundaries
LynavoDrive mainly provides automatic backup of phone album photos and videos to a personal computer, LAN file access, device management, Sync History, Access History, and optional official remote access. Available features depend on your version, platform, system permissions, remote-service subscription status, and product-page descriptions.
- Album auto backup requires photo or media-library permissions and may be affected by network conditions, device battery, background policies, and media size.
- Official remote access generally requires the target computer to be signed in and online, the client running, network access available, and the device authorized.
- Local network transfer is intended for trusted networks. Public, company, campus, or restricted networks may affect connection and speed.
- Connection codes, device blocking, and access records improve control, but they do not replace your own management of devices, system accounts, operating-system permissions, and network security.
4. User Content and file responsibility
You retain rights you lawfully hold in User Content. You confirm that you have the legal right to back up, download, access, or manage relevant photos, videos, and computer files, and that User Content does not infringe others’ rights or violate laws or platform rules.
LynavoDrive is not a permanent cloud backup service. Unless a feature expressly says that it provides cloud backup or cloud storage, we do not promise long-term cloud storage, version recovery, or disaster recovery for your contents. Keep your own backup of important contents.
5. Prohibited conduct
You must not use LynavoDrive to back up, download, transfer, access, store, or share unlawful, infringing, malicious, fraudulent, harassing, pornographic, violent, hateful, gambling-related, privacy-violating, or intellectual-property-infringing content; access others’ devices, accounts, files, networks, or systems without authorization; bypass connection codes, device blocking, official remote-service entitlements, security controls, access controls, or billing rules; except where expressly allowed by an open-source license, crack, attack, abuse automation, or distribute malicious code; or use the service in high-risk scenarios such as life safety, emergency medical care, critical infrastructure, military, nuclear facilities, or other zero-failure environments.
6. Downloads, installation, and updates
Download LynavoDrive only from the official website, app stores, or channels we recognize. Software from unofficial channels may be modified, and we are not responsible for its security or availability. We may update software to fix vulnerabilities, improve performance, adapt to systems, change features, or comply with law, and we may stop supporting old versions.
7. Official remote service, subscriptions, and pricing
The only currently paid product capability is official cross-network remote access. Local photo backup, LAN file access, and the rest of the local core are free; the open-source edition and official free build have no purchase price. Remote-service pricing, renewals, cancellation, invoices, and benefit scope are governed by the purchase page, app store, payment platform, or order page. If you purchase through Apple App Store, Google Play, another app store, or a payment platform, billing, cancellation, refunds, and disputes may be governed by that platform’s rules.
8. Third-party services
The service may depend on operating systems, app stores, payment platforms, email, SMS, push, cloud infrastructure, analytics, crash diagnostics, or support tools. Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies.
9. Privacy and data protection
We process personal information according to the Privacy Policy. Read it before registering, signing in, connecting devices, using album auto backup, or using remote access. If you do not agree with related processing, stop using the corresponding feature.
10. Intellectual property and open-source license
The LynavoDrive name, logo, official identity, website content, and non-public official-service code belong to us or lawful rights holders. Source code expressly released under GNU AGPL v3.0 is governed by that license. Rights granted by the AGPL are not restricted by these Terms. These Terms do not convert open-source code into proprietary code or grant trademark or official-endorsement rights.
11. Service changes, interruption, and termination
We may change, suspend, or terminate parts of the service because of product planning, maintenance, failures, security risks, legal requirements, third-party service changes, or business adjustments. If you violate these Terms, laws, platform rules, or others’ rights, we may warn you, restrict features, pause transfers, block devices, freeze accounts, terminate service, remove unlawful content, or cooperate with regulators.
12. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, LynavoDrive is provided “as is” and “as available.” We work to improve security and stability, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, full compatibility with every device, network, or system, or that every transfer will succeed, be timely, or be complete.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable beyond what law requires for indirect losses, lost profits, data loss, business interruption, device failure, third-party claims, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the service. If we are legally required to bear liability, our liability is limited to the service fees you actually paid during the relevant period or the minimum amount required by law.
14. Governing law and disputes
Without affecting mandatory consumer rights in your location, these Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. Disputes arising from these Terms or the service should first be resolved through friendly negotiation; if negotiation fails, they may be submitted to a court with jurisdiction or another dispute-resolution body permitted by law.
15. Updates
We may update these Terms because of product, legal, or operational changes. Material changes will be communicated through the website, clients, in-app notices, email, or other reasonable means. Updated Terms apply from the effective date shown on the page. Continued use means acceptance of the updated Terms.
