Refund Policy

This policy explains how LynavoDrive handles subscriptions, cancellations, refunds, and billing disputes. If a checkout page, app store, or payment platform shows different rules at purchase, those purchase terms control.

Scope boundary

This refund policy applies only to paid official remote service and other official digital services expressly sold for a fee. The open-source edition and official free build have no purchase price, so there is no software purchase payment to refund; this does not limit requests concerning an actual incorrect charge or paid service.

Effective date: July 7, 2026

1. Scope

This policy applies to memberships, subscriptions, one-time services, and related digital entitlements purchased through the LynavoDrive website, desktop app, mobile app, checkout pages we designate, or authorized channels. Different channels may use different payment processors, app stores, or service providers.

2. Free downloads, trials, and unpaid features

If you only download LynavoDrive, request availability updates, use free features, or remain in a trial before any charge occurs, there is no payment to refund. Any auto-renewal terms after a trial will be shown on the purchase or activation page.

3. Subscription cancellation

You can cancel future renewals through the purchase page, account subscription entry, app store, payment platform, or support channel. Cancellation usually does not automatically refund the current billing period. After cancellation, you can normally keep using paid entitlements until the paid period ends. Uninstalling the app, stopping use, or leaving a computer offline is usually not the same as cancelling a subscription.

4. When you may request a refund

  • Duplicate charges, incorrect charges, or an order amount that clearly differs from the amount shown at checkout.
  • Unauthorized charges, if you provide enough information for us or the payment platform to verify the issue.
  • A LynavoDrive server, account entitlement, or authorization system issue prevents you from using paid core entitlements, and the issue remains unresolved after reasonable troubleshooting.
  • Refunds required by applicable law, app-store rules, or payment-platform rules.
  • Refunds promised by a specific promotion, trial term, or order term shown at purchase.

5. Cases that are usually not refundable

  • The current billing period has started and the entitlement is available, unless law or platform rules require otherwise.
  • Use is limited because the target computer is powered off, asleep, disconnected, blocked by system permissions, restricted by a network or router, or running in an unsupported device environment.
  • You did not cancel renewal as instructed, forgot to cancel, uninstalled the app without cancelling the subscription, or did not review renewal reminders in time.
  • Free gifts, promotional credits, coupons, gift cards, non-cash entitlements, or items clearly marked as non-refundable.
  • Bank fees, exchange-rate differences, cross-border fees, tax differences, or fees charged by payment providers that we cannot control.
  • Account or entitlement restrictions caused by violation of the Terms, refund abuse, fraud, account resale, circumvention of security limits, or harm to others.

6. Purchases through app stores or third-party platforms

If you purchased through Apple App Store, Google Play, Microsoft Store, another app store, or a payment platform, refund requests usually need to be submitted through that platform. We can help locate order details and explain the issue, but the final review, timing, and refundable scope may be decided by the platform.

7. Purchases handled directly by LynavoDrive

If your order was processed directly by LynavoDrive or Shenzhen Kaiyun Information Technology Co., Ltd., email drive@lynavo.io. Include your account email, order number, purchase channel, charge time, amount, issue description, screenshots, or payment receipt. To protect your account, we may ask for information that verifies your identity and order ownership.

8. Processing time and refund method

We usually respond within 7 business days after receiving complete information. Eligible refunds are returned to the original payment method. Banks, card issuers, app stores, or payment platforms may need another 5 to 10 business days or longer to post the refund. If the original payment method is unavailable, we will confirm an available handling method based on platform capability and compliance requirements.

9. Billing disputes and chargebacks

If you have a billing question, contact us first at drive@lynavo.io so we can check the order quickly. Starting a chargeback, payment reversal, or dispute directly may cause the payment platform to temporarily limit account entitlements until the dispute is resolved.

10. Updates to this policy

We may update this policy when pricing, payment channels, legal requirements, or platform rules change. Updated terms will be posted on this page and apply from the effective date shown on the page or as otherwise allowed by law.
